Installation

Installation is simple; download the Setup Program from our FREE Trial page, and then run it—the Setup Program will do the rest. When you buy Good Times, you'll receive a license key to activate your FREE Trial.

Planning your installation is important. Things to consider include:

  • Will you be using Computerized Select Timing, or RFID Chip Timing?
  • Can you do everything on one computer, or will you need to use multiple computers? Good Times is designed so one computer on the network is the "server" and many other computers running Good Times can connect to it. This is helpful when you have volunteers running computers during race day registration, or have other computers running the results kiosks.
  • Setting up a wireless router for all of your computers on race day
  • Ensure you have backup battery power even if you're using an electrical generator
  • Are your computers protected from weather and the elements?

Even though installing Good Times is easy, we understand that some people may want assistance.

Please contact us and we'll be happy to help you through the installation. We're also happy to consult with you regarding your specific timing requirements.
